The Monostud is used in conjunction with a Cable Tie. The purpose is to give a complete watertight solution. The Monostud with a mounted Cable Tie (strap) attached is pressed into the eyelet of the sheeting from the outside. The strap is then tied directly to the framework, hence closing the eyelet and making it watertight.
